Amazon Prime - have you heard of it? This is probably the best $99 we spend a year. I love Amazon for so many reasons, just one of them being two day shipping. Since we move so much, I cannot always find things we use, so prime is a great way to get them sent right to our door. The subscribe and save feature is a nice bonus too, especially for things we buy often and are hard to find, like RV toilet paper. What I really love though, is all of the Prime shows and movies. We rarely get cable service at each of our new homes, so Prime allows the kids and I to watch some of our favorite shows regardless of time or location. Granted, you need internet, but even if a location does not offer service, we can use our data packages on our cell phones. As a plus, you can share the shipping aspect with up to four family members who get their own accounts. I like Amazon Smile, which allows you to select a charity that will receive a small donation for each of your eligible purchases - doing good by just doing what you do already, win-win.
Ebates - cash back on purchases you are already making online. All you need to do is install their browser extension and set up your account. Last year I got $46 back :)
Walmart Savings Catcher - I do not shop here a lot, at least not in Gallup, but the $14 I got back last year went towards Easter stuff this year.
These next ones are new for me, and while they seem like a lot, they are so simple and I get about $5 week back in addition to my savings with a grocery store savings card. Because they are independent, you can even use the same item and receipt across multiple apps.
Ibotta - This, like the other grocery apps, is very simple to use. Answer a question or learn a fact to unlock a rebate. Once you buy the product, scan the barcode and take a picture of your receipt. They also have rebates with big retailers like Target, Amazon, Clarks, etc. That’s it! Once you have $10, transfer it to PayPal or get a gift card to a major retailer.
Checkout51 - Claim an offer, upload your receipt, get cash back. Easy! $20 minimum to cash out.
Snap by Groupon - Claim an offer, upload your receipt, get cash back. Simple and same $20 minimum to cash out.
SavingStar - Did you read the three ahead of this? Ok. Same deal, but you can cash out to PayPal, your bank, or make a donation at $5.
Shrink - Again, more of the same, but I’ve only used it once so far as most of the brands are organic/highly specialized and Gallup doesn’t really have that kind of buyers market.
